Grimstone: Defend With Strategy
Grimstone is a strategy game that combines survival in a creepy atmosphere with a dark fantasy world. The game belongs to the roguelike tower defense genre, built on a spooky 3D graphics background. Players collect souls, build monstrous living towers and defend the fortress from attacks.
Souls and Dark Strategy
At the beginning of Grimstone, you only have a small land and a few weak souls. They are the only source of energy to help you build organic towers, maybe a nose that emits a slowing air stream or a creeping root that guides the monsters. As enemies swarm, each of their falls becomes a part of the defense wall that becomes more alive.
Twisted Towers and Upgrades
- Skull Tower - deals heavy damage at close range.
- Nose Tower - slows the speed of approaching monsters.
- Eye Tower - shoots electricity, useful for quick attacks.
- Root Tower – creates a forced path, forcing enemies to move in the right direction.
How To Play
- WASD: moves the character.
- Mouse: navigates the camera and selects the tower location.
- Left click: builds, upgrades or interacts.
